New AI Lab releases: Silverchair’s AI Lab continues to deliver thoroughly tested AI features in direct collaboration with publishers. Dynamic Discovery is now live across multiple client portfolios — including the American Diabetes Association — transforming how researchers find relevant content on the Silverchair Platform. Our newest AI initiative, the Discovery Bridge MCP, connects researchers directly to verified scholarly content through AI assistants and agentic workflows.
New Partnerships: The Silverchair Universe continues to expand, including new research integrity integrations with Cactus Communications, Clear Skies, Signals, and STM Integrity Hub, plus Dimensions Author Check, Imagetwin, Global Campus, Prophy, and Reviewer Credits.
Silverchair’s continued growth: In the last year, we’ve welcomed ACS Publications, Royal Society Publishing, RSC journal, Emerald Publishing, CSIRO Publishing, MIS Quarterly, ASTM International, Bioscientifica, and AMPP to our client communities, and maintained 99.99%+ uptime while expanding content hosting by 24% in 2025.
Our Product Vision: Across all our products, Silverchair’s 2026 vision is organized around four connected pillars — analytics, AI intelligence, researcher identity, and ecosystem partnerships — with each product translating those investments into concrete priorities. For the Silverchair Platform, that means deeper AI-powered discovery, flexible monetization infrastructure, performance and accessibility work, and the newly launched Discovery Bridge MCP. For ScholarOne Manuscripts, it means continued development of Author Gateway, an Editor Gateway built from 34 in-depth editor interviews, and an AI console that embeds intelligence directly into editorial workflows. For ScholarOne Conferences, it means creating pathways from conference presentation to published research, and using AI to reduce the operational burden on conference administrators. The thread connecting all of it: building infrastructure that learns fast without breaking what already works.
