In sprint 201 we released two major features, support for SeamlessAccess and support for multiple journal article versions (e.g., accepted manuscripts and proofs). We enhanced multiple platform widgets, adding additional linking to our selectable content widget, creating a browse by subject widget, and adding Composer content to our most read widget. To support the use and sharing of supplemental data, we also introduced stable URLs for those files. We’re doing more work on stable URLs in the months to come.
In sprint 202, we continued to enhance Composer, adding new alerts for Composer content. Composer is now a robust content creation tool. Ask your DPD for a demo if you haven’t seen it recently.
And last, in sprint 203, we introduced our new tools portal with single sign on and our updated user guides. We hope the portal and guides make it easier for you to use all the platform tools and features.
If you missed our last Silverchair Forum, Hannah Heckner and I previewed our 2022 roadmap priorities and reviewed the work we’ve done in the last 24-months. It’s worth a watch. We shared two great statistics:
- There’s now 33 customers on the Silverchair platform and over 370 publishers
- Since January 2020 we’ve released a total of 239 platform features and enhancements, every three weeks, without fail
