(Charlottesville, VA and Arlington, VA) May 19, 2021 – Silverchair and the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) announced a new partnership today to migrate the ADA’s content to the Silverchair Platform, opening up new ways to publish, package, monetize, and promote their content.

The migration to the Silverchair Platform will bring the ADA’s journals, clinical compendia, professional books, multimedia, and other resources onto the same platform, providing a unified user experience for content discovery. At the same time, Silverchair’s suite of self-serve publishing tools will add workflow efficiencies and make the overall publication process more cost effective. Among these tools is the recently launched Silverchair Composer, which extends first-class search, browse, and display treatment to content like ADA’s news, editorials, and whitepapers.

“By unifying their content, the ADA will now be better positioned to experiment, grow, and serve the evolving needs of their membership and audience,” said Thane Kerner, Silverchair CEO. “We welcome the ADA into the expanding Silverchair community of innovative, mission-driven publishers.”

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Silverchair on the next phase of our online publishing program,” said Christian S. Kohler, managing director of ADA professional publications. “The Silverchair Platform and publishing tools will provide the ADA with the capabilities to host and quickly launch multiple types of content on the same platform, thereby improving the ADA’s ability to provide diabetes-related researchers and health care professionals with the information they need as efficiently as possible.”
