Silverchair Successfully Passes COUNTER Release 4 Audit

Silverchair is pleased to announce the 2017 certification of their usage reporting system’s compliance to Release 4 of the COUNTER Code of Practice for e-Resources.

COUNTER provides the standard that enables the knowledge community to count the use of electronic resources. Known as the Code of Practice, the standard ensures vendors and publishers can provide their library customers with consistent, credible and comparable usage data. Each year, Silverchair undergoes an annual audit requirement to ensure accurate COUNTER reporting for our clients.

BPA Worldwide, an independent, COUNTER-approved auditor, has examined Silverchair’s recording and reporting process, and has found them to meet the strict COUNTER quality guidelines for credibility, consistency, and compatibility. The audit concluded that Silverchair-hosted publications presented fair and accurate reporting for:
