13 May 2014

Bethesda, MD/Charlottesville, VA, May 13, 2014 – The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) announced today the launch of American Journal of Occupational Therapy (AJOT) on Silverchair’s SCM6 platform.

The AJOT launch marks the second major product release by AOTA since partnering with Silverchair in June of last year.  AJOT is the official peer-reviewed journal of AOTA and provides key updates on research, practice, and health care issues in the field of occupational therapy.

“We are very pleased with the rapid product development capabilities of the SCM6 platform,” says Chris Davis, Director, AOTA Press. “Working with Silverchair has resulted in a significantly upgraded AJOT site that provides readers with a more personalized user-experience and enhanced search capabilities to allow our readers to find, read, and download articles with greater speed and accuracy than ever before.”

“The release of AJOT marks an important extension of our dynamic partnership with AOTA,” said Thane Kerner, Silverchair CEO. “This multi-product relationship showcases the flexible product development capabilities we offer to STM publishers, and we look forward to continuing our work with AOTA to expand their product suite to further support occupational therapy.”
