Joy Moore is the Chief Product Strategist at Silverchair Information Systems. She works with STM and scholarly publishers to maximize the success of their publishing programs using Silverchair’s semantic and platform products, and guides ongoing product development to best meet market needs.

Most recently, Joy was VP of Global Partnerships at Seed Media Group, creators of innovative products and services for the communication of science, including ScienceBlogs.com, ResearchBlogging.org, and visualizing.org. Prior to that, she was a journal publishing manager and online product publisher for Blackwell Science, and society journals publisher at Nature Publishing Group, where she also launched Nature Network Boston, a social networking site for scientists. She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary.

Joy has been a long time contributor to a number of STM industry associations, including the Council of Science Editors, the Society for Scholarly Publishing, and the American Association of Publishers, Professional and Scholarly Publishing division.
