Jake Zarnegar became Chief Technology Officer of Silverchair in early 2003 and was named President of Silverchair Information Systems in January 2009.

During his tenure as CTO, Jake led the creation of a family of technologies at Silverchair including the application of semantic metadata to clinical content, ontology management tools, an online authoring platform for medical authors and editors, and an e-learning CMS/LMS platform. These technologies now form the backbone of Silverchair’s major publishing platforms—SCM, Orbital, Tagmaster, Totem, and the Silverchair Learning Systems LMS.

As President of Silverchair Information Systems, Jake is currently leading significant growth in Silverchair’s core mission—to deploy its industry-leading technology and publishing expertise to bring highly useful education, training, and point of care information products to millions of professionals and students in scientific, technical, and medical (STM) disciplines.
